Doga helps us live Dog Yoga

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. Doga is a yoga practice you do with your dog, using your canine companion as an exercise partner as well as a catalyst for a feeling of positive connection or union (to borrow a yoga term) to all things.

I think Dog Yoga, is a way of life. It’s me living positively in the world with my dogs and letting them help me evolve to be the best human I can be as I help them be the best dogs that they can be. It’s our life together as family who work and play to help make things better for ourselves and those around us. Living Dog Yoga is developing a conscience, healing relationship with our dogs as a way to heal the world around us. Doga us helps live Dog Yoga.

Barking Buddha Doga

My name is Brenda Bryan and I’m an author and doga teacher.  I developed a Yoga with your Dog class three years ago for The Seattle Humane Society.   Since then I’ve traveled to teach doga seminars, teacher trainings and I’ve written a book called Barking Buddha; Simple Soul Stretch51417barking-buddhaes for Yogi and Dogi. My dogs Gus and Honey help me teach and inspire my writing.

I’ve been blogging about my doga and dog experiences for almost 3 years now and hope to have those archives moved over from blogger soon.  Looking forward to new dog and blog experiences and sharing them with everyone.  Thanks for visiting Dog Yoga Blog!
